Buhari former aide defeated at APC primary poll

Member, representing Gaya, Ajingi, Albasu Federal Constituency Hon Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya has defeated immediate past Special Assistant on social media to President Buhari,Bashir Ahmad.

 

The result which was announced by the returning officer of the election ,Hon Faizu Alfindiki said incumbent serving federal lawmaker had secured 109 votes in the poll to trounce Bashir Ahmad who got 16 votes after the party’s delegates casted their votes at the Gaya local government Islamic centre Friday.

 

In his response after the announcement of the results, Hon Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya assured peoples of his constituent that he will continuing working to make sure that constituency concerns are heard and addressed and deeply humbled by unflinching confidence and support repose in him by APC delegates during party’s primaries from Albasu, Gaya & Ajingi Federal Constituency, saying with unflinching commitments of all the narrations of once neglected constituency has been change to much better going with apparent development across all the nook and cronies of the three local government areas.

 

He added that there was so much more to do to make the Constituency great, with uncommon goals of more dividend of democracy will come as we stand for the common goal we have come so far. We are expecting so much.
