My name is Alhassan Adam Alhaji, I was born in Sancitagi of Edu LGA of Kwara State to the family of Mallam Zakariyau Alhassan and Mallama Aisha Adam. I had my Primary and Secondary Schools in Sokoto & I also had the Certificate on Dental Surgery Tech. I am a student of Indigenous Languages Learning Centre where I learn purely in my mother tongue.

Aliyu Mohammed hails from Ndakoaman under Lavun Local Government Area in 1994. He lives in Minna, Niger State. He attended Nyikangbe Primary School from 2008 to 2013. He had his secondary school education at D.S.S. Gaba in 2020. Presently, Aliyu is a student at Niger State College of Education Minna where he applied in studying his native language (Nupe). He is a student of Indigenous Languages Learning Centre (ILLEC), Minna. The first book he authorized got a title as “Cigban Yikunu” – (A Palm Three), a collection of Nupe poems.

My name is Fatima Suleiman Musa, Bida, Niger State. I am from the families of both; Alhaji Musa Dagba, and Emin Lukpan in Bida. My father’s name is Suleiman Alhaji, and my Mother is from Emin Lukpan Bida. My husband’s name is Nasiru Baba Tafarki.

 

I attended Primary and Secondary Schools. I had Diploma in Mass Communication. I have three children; all girls. Currently I am a student of Indigenous Languages Learning Center (ILLEC) where I am learning my mother language.

 

5. Grace Yisa Jiya hails from Essan village in Gbako Local Govt Area of Niger State, a teacher with the Niger State Sec Education board Minna & a Student with lLLEC (lndigenous Language Learning Center Minna).

Mallama Hadiza A. Usman was born in Tswagba, Gaba district under Lavun Local Government Area of Niger State. She had her primary academic education and secondary in Minna in 1985 to1990 where she comes to graduate on her second academic level in 1990 to 1996. She attended Computer School. Presently, Hadiza is a staff at Police Secondary School Minna. She is a student at Niger State College of Education, Minna where she is studying Nupe language, likewise a student at Indigenous Languages Learning Centre (ILLEC) Minna. She sourced to a book tilted ‘Etswa Woro’ meaning ‘The New Moon’ in 2023 which is a collection of Nupe poems.

Hussaini Mohammed was born on 5th March 1997, his parents are Mallam Mohammed Kotsu (Yagana) & Mallama Adama (Ya Yelwa) Mohammed. He started Limawa model primary school in 2001 and he finished in 2008. He proceeded for his Junior Secondary School in the same place. He proceeded to Government Day Secondary School Minna in 2012 to 2015. He got admission to Fati Lami Abubakar Institute for Legal and Administrative Studies (Flailas) where he studied Public Administration. He proceeded to Indigenous Languages Learning Centre (ILLEC) Minna from 2017 to 2020 where he studied Diploma in Nupe Language. He started studying Nupe Language online in 2019 to 2023 where he bagged a Masterclass Certificate Nupe language. He is currently studying Bsc in Public Administration at Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University Lapai (Ibbul). He is a Nupe writer, he love writing and teaching most especially in Nupe Language. After graduating from Indigenous Languages Learning Centre ILLEC, he was retained by the founder of the Institute in person of Honourary Prof Adamu Idris Manarakis, Tashiru Nupe due to his commitment and doggedness. He was teaching Nupe Grammar, Nupe Translation, and Nupe Reading and Writing Skills. He also taught Nupe Language at Police Secondary School Minna, PSS. Hussaini wrote many nupe unpublished books to his name like; Tears of Love; Giye cincin, Yogo Nyagbandeci e-book Nanpapagi The Butterfly and Kpoki Nupe Ta Essential Nupe Grammar. He contributed on Nupe Short Stories Ecingi Nupe Tashiru (Anthology), Nupe Poems Soko Deke (Anthology), Tribute to Etsu Yahaya Abubakar (Anthology), The 13th Etsu Nupe’s poems, Yogo Nna Zakaman and Tulu by Northern Nigerian Writers Submit etc. He is currently working on some Nupe Poems books and stories. Apart from Nupe his native language, Hussaini speaks Hausa, English partially. He has traveled to several places in Nigeria, which Include; Kaduna, Kwara, Abuja, Ibadan, among many others. He will keep promoting Nupe Language to the best of his ability by God’s Grace, because the love he has for Nupe Language is overemphasized.

Ramatu Muhammad was born in Sokoto in 1998. She hails from Niger State. She did her primary school at Ibrahim Gusau Primary School Gusau. She had her Secondary Education at Government Day Secondary School Gusau where she graduated in 2015. Therefore, marriage brought her to Minna in 2016. Mallama Rahmat Mohammed is a student at Indigenous Languages Learning Centre (ILLEC) Minna where she learns in her mother language (Nupe). Her first book written in Nupe, tilted; “Foci Wun a Be o” meaning: When Shall it Come? Which is a collection of pure Nupe poems.

Rahmat Mahmud Salihu was born on 28 of May 2002 from the family of Salihu Alhaji Mahmud Saraki (Yabadoko) and Hajara Mohammed Shehu. Rahmat attended her primary school at Nuriyyah Islamic model School, Barikin Sale, Minna, secondary school at Day secondary school, Barikin sale, popular known as (Alakura). She wrote WAEC & NECO in the year 2020. Rahmat was sponsored to make the foundation and build her mansion dreams to move with a long memories with white egret grimacing of jucond (sponsored to study Nupe language at “Niger state college of education minna COE”, and to be proud of her mother tongue with spicy saliva, and to be celebrated on a Mauna Kea. She’s at the same time a treasurer at the great sky with sparkling stars which is Indigenous Languages Learning Center (ILLEC) Minna, Niger State. She is a poem writer and presenter basically on her mother tongue .

Zakari Isah hails from Fujeregi Under Gbako Local Government Area in Niger State. He was blessed to the incumbent Chief Imam Isah Muhammad Fujeregi with Mallama Khadijat Usman. He attended Model Primary School Tudun Fulani Minna in 2012. He went for his Secondary School education at Sheikh Muhammad Sambo College of Arts & Islamic Studies, Tudun Fulani Minna, Niger State where he excellently graduated in 2019. He is currently a student of Niger State College of Education, Minna where he is studying his L_one (Nupe) combined with English Language Also a Pioneer Nupe language student. An esteemed Zakari is a degree holder of Indigenous Languages Learning Centre and he is an active instructor at the same centre. Zakari is a Nupe writer, poet, teacher and student who cherished on learning.
