Don’t Turn Yourselves To Abuja Politicians – Wase Advises Plateau Lawmakers

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Ahmed Idris Wase has called on the federal lawmakers from Plateau state not to abandon their constituents who voted them into power.

Wase said some of the lawmakers turned themselves into Abuja politicians immediately they got inaugurated for a four-year tenure.

Speaking at a grand reception in honour of legislators of 9th National Assembly from Plateau state organised by the State Indigenes Forum in National Assembly, Wase charged his colleagues to ensure that they visit their constituents regularly.

He said “don’t allow yourselves to be called Abuja politicians. visit your people, go home, Let our people benefit from our individual and collective efforts.”

“I’m not bothered whether you are PDP, APC, or APGA, what matters now is for us to come together, put our hands on deck and build Plateau State and our nation.

“Let us cooperate to make Plateau state and our nation better and avoid things that can bring down the image of Plateau and the nation at large”, Wase advised.
