As 2025 marks a critical point in the journey toward the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Federal Government has reaffirmed its dedication to advancing the global development agenda.

In her New Year message, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on SDGs (SSAP-SDGs), Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, OFR, reassured Nigerians of the government’s unwavering commitment to implementing policies and programs aimed at fostering sustainable growth.

The SSAP-SDGs emphasized that the initiatives under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would drive inclusive development, reduce poverty, and ensure no one is left behind.

“With 2025 upon us, we remain steadfast in our mission to strengthen the implementation of the SDGs in Nigeria. Together, we can build a future defined by progress, peace, and fulfillment for all,” Princess Orelope-Adefulire said.

She also called on Nigerians to work together, noting that collective action and collaboration are essential to meeting the SDG targets.
