The immediate past Director General, National Broadcasting Commission NBC and renowned scholar , Professor Armstrong Aduku Idachaba has been conferred with Leadership Award by Class of 98 Kogi State College of Education, KSCOE Ankpa in Kogi state.
The event which took place during the two day silver jubilee celebration and leadership recognition award on Friday at the community hall, Art and Culture, Garki in Abuja by the alumni association of the institution.
The Honor according to the convener and member of the Alumni of the College led by Sam Attah was in recognition of his outstanding performance and contributions to the socio-economic,humanitarian development and uplifting the Education sector of kogi state College of Education, Ankpa.
The renowned academic and administrator who was the Chairman of the occasion also presented a lead paper tittled “Functional Teacher Education in Nigeria for Today and Tomorrow.”
Idachaba who taught for over a decade in the institution before joining the National Broadcasting Commission NBC in 1991, was Head of Department of Theater Arts of the College.
His contributions in the field of Arts and Acting even after leaving the institution had earned him intermittent recognitions from the college and bodies.
The award and recognition also attracted other awardees by the “Class of 98”, of the College.
