Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State hailed the affirmation of President Muhammadu Buhari and the dismissal of the appeal of the People’s Democratic Party,(PDP) and it’s presidential candidate, Alh Atiku Abubakar by Supreme Court describing the judgement as a as true reflection of the peoples mandate of being duly elected as the President of Federal Republic Nigeria.
In a statement issued his Chief Press Secretary, Mrs Mary Noel Berje, Governor Bello said by the Supreme Court judgement it was a confirmation that President Buhari won the February 2019 presidential election in a free and fair contest .
He shared the joyful moment with President Buhari ,the Leadership of the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC) and party loyalists as well as other Nigerians for the victory at the poll and the subsequent judgements both at the tribunal and Supreme Court.
He said the victory at the Supreme Court has put an end to the legal battle and that a new chapter has now been open which he said is aimed at nation-building for accelerated growth and development.
Sani-Bello said the apex court has demonstrated hope for the common man through the transparent delivery of justice as this has further deepened judicial procedures and justice dispensations.
“I on behalf of the government and good people of Niger State, our teeming supporters to congratulate you on the Supreme Court judgement, this is a demonstration that the country still believes in your change mantra.
“With the affirmation by the Supreme Court, the democratic practice in Nigeria has further been entrenched, together we can now concentrate on building the country to the next level of our dream”, he stated.
He further enjoined Nigerlites and all Nigerians to pray for the success of President Buhari to build a better and prosperous Nigeria.
