The Governor of Niger State, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello has approved the elevation of Hon. Umar Mohammed, Coordinator Youth Empowerment to Project Manager, Youth Empowerment, Niger State.
A statement issued by Ahmed Ibrahim Matane, Secretary to the Government of Niger State (SSG) disclosed that the elevation of Hon. Mohammed to the challenging position is based on merit, proven credentials, personal integrity, and outstanding record of performance in his previous assignments.
The SSG reminded the Project Manager of one of the policy directions of the present administration which is to improve the quality of life of the youth of the State and urged him to work diligently towards achieving this noble objective.
The SSG stressed that Hon. Umar Mohammed is expected to bring his knowledge, skills, and wealth of experience to bear in the performance of his new assignment by working assiduously to justify the confidence reposed in him.
The Governor therefore congratulated the Project Manager on the elevation and wished him success and God’s guidance in the performance of the arduous duties of his Offices.
It would be recalled that recently the Project Manager initiated the Niger State Youth Talent Hunt competition which is aimed at empowering unemployed Youth across the State through the discovery of their natural talents.
The talent hunt competition will expose participants to the business side of their innate passion, talents, and natural gifts to turn the endowed gifts into businesses so that they can become self-reliant.
