Gov Sani- Bello Inspects Facilities in Mecca ,Commends State Pilgrims Welfare Board

Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello has expressed satisfaction over the organization of this years Hajj by the State pilgrims welfare board.

The Governor stated this while speaking to journalists in Mecca The inspection which took place at the designated worship points in Mecca and Medina, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, offered Governor Abubakar Sani Bello first hand information on the activities of the pilgrims as it concern health and Welfare.

Governor Sani Bello said he was quite impressed with the pilgrims accommodation and Clinic in Mecca and expressed confidence that this will go along way in assisting the pilgrims to observe the pilgrimage with ease.

“I took time to visit the clinic which i am quite happy with the procedure, the clinic is busy because it is not just for pilgrims from Niger State, it was part of the support offer to National Hajj Commission by providing clinic that will serve all Nigerians in Mecca”.

“The accommodation in Mecca is okay, i haven’t received any complaints regarding the accommodation of Pilgrims in Mecca so far”the Governor stated.

Alhaji Sani-Bello however observed lack of inadequate water supply to pilgrims accommodation in Mecca, and assured that the problem is being addressed.

“I received minor complain with regards to water, I took time to speak to the landlord who explained that it was an unusual situation, although water tanker is already standing by and discharging water”. he said.

The Governor said he has decided to join the state pilgrims this year so as to have the feelings of state pilgrims in Mecca, Medina and Muna as well as their airlift.

He then urged the pilgrims to use the period of the Hajj to pray for the state and country as a whole.
