An islamic scholar has urged the government to take a bold step by doing all in its capacity to end hate Speech by hate Speech mongers as it is a serious threat to the nation’s unity. This call was made while discussing the topic:- HIJRAH HIGHLIGHTS: The History & Achievement of The Islamic Golden Age, during an Islamic weekly program tagged “TALK ISLAM” on Jordan 93.9 FM Abuja.
Abu Mazeedatilkhayr Bn Sa’eed, the CEO De Minaret International, Abuja said the Golden age of Islam was when the luminous moon of Islam overwhelmed the earth, and this commenced with the migration of the Prophet (PBUH) from Makkah (the rebellious city of Makkah back then) to Madinah.
He added that civilization commenced after the prophet (PBUH) arrived in Madinah by reconciling the people of other Faith’s (Jews and the Christian) who were already living in Madinah in harmony with Islamic ideals after which he established brotherhood fraternity among the Muslims.
Bn Sa’eed also emphasized that, What was lacking in our society today was the spirit of brotherhood, mutual help and neighborliness. He therefore advised nigerians particularly the muslims to imbibe these spirits in order to earn the favour of Allaah in this world and the hereafter. Civilization begins on the basis of generosity, kindness and compassion.
