The Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Aviation Technology, Akinlade Abiodun Isiaq, has pledged to bring his previous experience in science and technology and his dedication to development to play in reviving the nation’s aviation sector.
Speaking to our correspondent on Thursday, in Abuja, he said the task of the committee is huge especially “at this critical time in our country”.
Akinlade who noted that all hands must be in deck in the renew hope of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu, explained that the committee will explore all actions, law and policies to ensure the nation’s development.
” We will work with all that is involved to make it work. This committee is charged therefore with overseeing the Air Safety Services at airports, Schools of Aviation, Aviation Institutions, Meteorological Services, annual budget estimates, and the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology.
“I thank the leadership of the house, Hon Tajudeen Abbass and all other members of the House not leaving members of my committee, for all the support and we pray and wish to leave the aviation better than we met it.”Akinlade said.
