The Niger state Governor ,Abubakar Sani Bello on Sunday hosted state lawmakers, State Executive Council Members, Special Advisers, Permanent Secretaries and Local Government Council Chairmen to a breaking of fast (Iftar).
The event which was held at the Justice Idris Legbo Kutigi International Conference Center Minna, was to further strengthen the existing working relationship between the Executive and Legislative arms as well as the local government councils in the state for better service delivery to the people.
In their separate remarks, the Speaker of the Niger State House of Assembly represented by the deputy speaker,Jibrin Ndagi Baba, Chairman of Commisioners Forum who is also the Commissioner for works, Mamman Musa Bosso, Chairperson of Special Advisers Forum, Khadiza Idris Kuta and the representative of Council Chairmen, Bello Bako, Chairman of Rijau local government council appreciated Governor Sani Bello for the kind gesture and assured of their meaningful contributions that will engender growth and development of the state.
Special prayers were offered for an end to the insecurity and a lasting peace in the state.
