The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has received a consignment of protective gear donated by Signal 63 Ministries, United States, through the Fundamental Baptist Ministry International, described the intervention as a significant boost to officers’ welfare and operational effectiveness.
The donation was presented on Tuesday, April 22, 2026, at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
In his remarks, the IGP expressed appreciation to Mr. Bill Graham of Signal 63 Ministries and the facilitators, Reverend and Mrs. Philemon Sidi, for their commitment to supporting the welfare and safety of police personnel.
He described the gesture as a timely and critical intervention that would enhance the safety and operational confidence of frontline officers, stressing that the well-being of personnel remains central to building a more resilient and professional police force.
IGP Disu further reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to ensure officers are adequately equipped and supported to carry out their duties effectively and safely.
The donation underscored growing international cooperation in strengthening Nigeria’s policing capacity and improving operational readiness.
