The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Riliwan Disu, has unveiled two Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses donated to the Nigeria Police Force by Sterling Oil Exploration and Energy Production Company Limited (SEEPCO) at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
The donation is aimed at enhancing the operational mobility and welfare logistics of police personnel while supporting the Federal Government’s drive towards cleaner and more sustainable energy.
The unveiling ceremony was attended by senior police officers and top officials of SEEPCO, including the company’s Managing Director, Mr. Mohit Barot, Director of Business Development, Mr. Raj Bhargava, the Public Relations Officer, and other executives.
Speaking during the event, IGP Disu commended Sterling Oil for its corporate social responsibility initiative, describing the donation as a demonstration of the private sector’s commitment to strengthening national security.
He noted that the eco-friendly CNG buses would improve transportation logistics for police personnel and contribute to more efficient service delivery across the Force.
In their remarks, the SEEPCO management reiterated the company’s commitment to supporting Nigeria’s security agencies through strategic partnerships and initiatives that promote public safety and national development.
