IGP’s wife, Elizabeth Egbetokun commissions FCT Command POWA Secretariat

The National Chairperson of the Police Officers Wives Association (POWA), Dr. Mrs. Elizabeth Egbetokun, on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 commissioned the secretariat of the FCT Command POWA at the FCT Command’s new site in Utako District, Abuja.

 

The event was attended by the Inspector General of Police, ably represented by the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Department of Operations, DIG Ede Ayuba Ekpeji,the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 7, AIG Benneth C. Igweh, Commissioner of Police, FEDOPS, CP Vungwoh Kwaimo; as well as other senior officers and guests.

 

In her opening speech, the POWA National Chairperson described the inauguration as the opening of doors to a beacon of hope, support, and empowerment. She concluded by dedicating the secretariat to the brave police officers who stand on the front lines and their families, who support them often at great personal cost.
