El-Birru Muslim Association of Nigeria (EMAN) has extended greetings to Muslims Worldwide on the occasion of the 1446AH Islamic New Year.
EMAN in a statement signed by its National Amir,Arc.MammanArc.Mamman Abdul Yekeen also commended all those who contributed to maintaining peace in Ebiraland, including the Local Government Chairman, His Royal Majesty the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Alhaji Muhammed Anaje, All the Ohis, Chief Imams and other Muslim leaders.
EMAN National Amir said;”We remember our Late Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, His Royal Majesty Alhaji Ado Ibrahim Atta. May Allah grant him forgiveness and mercy .Ameen.
“The new year offers us a fresh start and the opportunity to make a positive difference in the Ummah, ourselves and our community . Ya Allah! grant us with safety, faith and peace and also we seek your divine protection from the devils in our Society.
“El-Birru Muslim Association of Nigeria (EMAN) was formed in 1994 with the aims and objectives of Propagation of Islam and also Promotion of Unity and Peaceful Coexistence among the Muslim Ummah.
“Our activities are centred on Islamic Education, Rendering Humanitarian Services to the less *Priviledged* people / *Orphans* in Ebiraland and propagating Islam in other places where we have large Settlements of Ebira Muslims. (Farmlands/Rural Areas)
“One of our core projects is to construct Boreholes in all Jummah Mosques in Kogi Central , which we commenced as a pilot project with Okene Central Mosque with the support of Sadaqatul-Jariah from a family on behalf of their departed parents, to ease water challenges for worshippers.
“The construction of Solar powered Borehole in Ogaminana Central Mosque has been completed and commissioned on Friday: 12th July, 2024.
“With your Support/Endowment,we will be constructing more Boreholes across the Kogi Central this new year 1446AH In Shaa Allah.
