A man, Paul Okwudili, has died during a sex romp in an hotel in Onitsha, Anambra State.
According to available information, the 40-year-old man died at about on Monday while having sex with a lady with whom he checked into the hotel.
The sex romp took place at Plus View Hotel.
The lady was said to have dashed out of the hotel shouting for assistance minutes after they checked into the room and started love making.
Okwudili, said to one of Ogboliolosi area, off Awka Road, Inland Town, Onitsha, was then discovered by the hotel management grasping for breath.
He was rushed to St Charles Boromeo Hospital, Onitsha for medical attention, where he was confirmed dead by a Medical Doctor on duty.
The spokesman, Anambra State Police Command, SP Haruna Mohammed, confirmed the development on Monday.
Mohammed said the scene of the incident was visited by Police detectives attached to Central Police Station, Onitsha and photographs of the victim obtained.
He said no marks of violence was seen on the deceased’s body but some drugs were discovered in the hotel room, reasonably suspected to be enhancement drugs.
He said the corpse had been deposited at the hospital mortuary for autopsy, adding that the lady was arrested, while investigation is ongoing to ascertain circumstances surrounding the incident.
