MUSWEN honours new NAHCON Chairman

The Muslim Ummah of South West Nigeria (MUSWEN) will on Saturday in Ibadan honour the new Chairman/CEO of National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) Alhaji Zikrullah Kunle Hassan with special prayers.

In a statement by the Chairman of MUSWEN Media and Communication committee, Alhaji Abdur-Rahman Balogun said the prayer session will hold at University of Ibadan Central Mosque on Saturday March 21 at 11am.

To this effect, all the Chief Imams, Islamic Scholars, Muslim groups and Chairmen of South West Muslim Communities have been invited to grace the occasion.

Also, all the Chairmen of Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards in South West had been invited to grace the special prayers for the new NAHCON Chairman.

The Executive Secretary of MUSWEN, Prof. Muslih Yahya said the prayer session was to seek for Allah’s guidance and favour for the new NAHCON chairman to make the job easier for him and Nigeria Muslims in general.

He said as Muslims who believes in the efficacy of prayers, informed the group decision to honour Alhaji Zikrullah Hassan with prayers.

Since the assumption of office of the new Chairman of NAHCON in February, many groups have organised prayer sessions and felicitations to honour him.

MUSWEN is the umbrella body for all Muslim Communities and groups in South West of Nigeria.
