In a ceremony held at the State Police Headquarters, Minna, the Niger State Police Command, under the leadership of Commissioner of Police (CP) Shawulu Ebenezer Danmamman, decorated 204 newly promoted officers with their new ranks. The event, which took place on 8th January 2025, saw officers rose to higher ranks, including one Deputy Commissioner of Police, ten Chief Superintendents of Police, twelve Superintendents of Police, and 181 Deputy Superintendents of Police.
CP Danmamman, in his address, congratulated the officers and reminded them of the increased responsibilities that come with their promotions. He urged them to enhance their supervisory roles and contribute positively to the Force’s image.
“The promotion is a testament to your hard work, but it also comes with the expectation of greater responsibility and commitment,” CP Danmamman stated.
He encouraged the officers to continue to excel in their duties and uphold the integrity of the Force.
The promoted officers expressed their gratitude to the Police Service Commission and the Inspector General of Police for recognizing their efforts and to CP Danmamman for his support and recommendation.
