The Secretary to the Government of Niger State (SSG), Ahmed Ibrahim Matane has expressed shock and sadness over the death of the Special Adviser to the Governor of Niger State on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and former Chairman,Rafi Local Government, Alhaji Gambo Tanko Kagara (Bojo).
Alhaji Gambo Kagara died today in Minna after a brief illness.
In his condolence message, the Secretary to the State Government described late Gambo Kagara and former National President, ALGON as a man of great courage who exhibited great passion, patriotism and dedication to the development of the State and the country as a whole.
As Special Adviser to the Governor on Local Government Affairs, Ahmed Matane noted that the patriotic tendencies and excellent handling of Local Government and Chieftaincy matters are worthy of emulations, adding that posterity will honour and acknowledge late Gambo Kagara better.
On behalf of the people and Government of Niger State, “I commiserate with the immediate family of the deceased on this huge loss, may the Almighty God grant the soul of the departed eternal rest, reward him with Jannatul Firdausi and grant the entire family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss”, Ahmed Matane stated.
