Niger State Govt Seeks More Collaboration With Qatar

Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State has maintained that Public Private Partnership was paramount to the Socio-Economic advancement of any society.

The Governor was speaking at the inauguration of a centre at Dakwa in Tafa LGA of the state, donated by the Qatar Charity Foundation. The foundation is a humanitarian and Non-governmental organization in the Middle East championing the development and uplift meant of orphans and other vulnerable groups across the globe. The foundation has been operating in Nigeria for about 15 years in different areas of human endeavors.

the foundation in line with its goals constructed its first Center in the Country located in Niger state with the state government provided the land. The centre comprised a Mosque with a seating capacity of one thousand , school with auditorium, orphanage, clinic and a complex as well as staff quarters.

The representative of President Muhammadu Buhari and Emir of Birnin Gwari Alhaji Jibril Mai Gwari commended the donor and Niger state government for making the project a reality.

Niger state Governor ,Abubakar Sani Bello applauded the Qatar authority for the quality work and assured the foundation of further collaboration.

The Executive Director, Future Leaders Educational Foundation, Hamdi Muhammad Addo recounted the achievements recorded in the Country by the Qatar Charity Foundation over the years .

Director General, National Orientation Agency, Dr. Garba Abari described the initiative as a welcome development in the country.

The inauguration also featured signing of MOU between the Representatives of Qatar Charity Foundation and Niger state Government as well as the inspection of the facilities by the dignitaries.
