Re — THANK YOU, A.G. ABUBAKAR, ESQ (IMMEDIATE PAST REGISTRAR-GENERAL OF THE CORPORATE AFFAIRS COMMISSION) FOR ACHIEVING WHAT CLUELESS LEADERS OF THE LEGAL PROFESSION (BAR AND BENCH) COULDN NOT ACHIEVE(PART 2) By Sylvester Udemezue

*DAMILOLA MUMUNI, ESQ* wrote, in response to mine:
_”His predecessor started it. She deserves accolades, too. Plus, this man engaged in a standoff with NBA all through his tenure…he dissociated himself from NBA because of whatever reasons. He should be ashamed and upon reflection, come openly to ask that he be forgiven. He can’t even sit in his former office anymore. All he has left will be NBA if he is a lawyer. He is coming back to the body he disrespected. He is a shame to rule of law, corporate governance, and mutual cooperation. It was under him that CAC Staff attempted to go on strike. The man was vindictive against lawyers.
We thank God that today he is being referred to in past tense with respect to that office. May we not see his kind of attitude to public governance again”_

Which standoff?
He had merely refused to associate with a stagnant, clueless and disorganized legal profession..
Success 🏆💪 does not associate with failure 👎. CAC under A G. ABUBAKAR was a huge SUCCESS🏆💪. Leaders of the legal profession are horrible 😱 failures👎🏿👎🏿
If A. G. ABUBAKAR as the Registrar-General of the CAC had associated with leaders of the legal profession, he wouldn’t have achieved anything.
If leaders of the legal want progressive organizations to partner or associate with them, let them (leaders of the legal profession) step up, step out from archaism, myopia, cluelessness, and unpragmatism. If they step up, institutions that have stepped us will find them as worthy partners and associates
Quote me, the legal profession is dormant, stagnant. CAC under A. G. ABUBAKAR, ESQ didn’t want to be contaminated by the pervasive indolence, cluelessness, unpragmatism, archaism and lack of foresight ravaging the legal profession.
◾He was right to have distanced himself from a purposeless and dormant profession.
◾ Besides, is the CAC legally answerable to the leader of the legal profession?
Let’s face REALITY:
*Show me one achievement the legal profession in Nigeria has recorded in the last decade or two or three.* Just one.
Yet, in less than 4 years, the man moved hitherto insummountable mountains at the CAC.
Perhaps you didn’t get me. What I said is, A. G. ABUBAKAR, ESQ never disrespected NBA. It was NBA that disrespected itself when it chose to remain dormant, stagnant and clueless about the multiple challenges facing the legal profession and lawyers in Nigeria. If you refuse to respect yourself, you’d be disrespected by people. That’s *reality*
He was not happy that leaders of the profession have refused to move the profession forward.
Finally, you talked about how he neglected “rule of law”. Please which law did the RG violate?
Educate me
Respectfully,
