Renowned Parliamentary and Development Advocate, Mr. Sunny Anderson Osiebe, has officially declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
Osiebe, a respected publisher, media consultant, and convener of the HallowMace Foundation Africa, made the announcement following what he described as “extensive consultations” with family, friends, and associates. His declaration signals a transition from years of civic advocacy to active partisan politics, aiming to bring his wealth of legislative experience into elected office.
“My decision to step into the political arena stems from a deep-seated conviction cultivated over ten years of dedicated service within and around the National Assembly,” Osiebe said in a statement.
He emphasized that his candidacy is motivated by a strong desire to elevate legislative standards, promote good governance, and ensure effective representation for the people of AMAC and Bwari.
With over a decade of experience engaging the legislative space, Osiebe has consistently promoted transparency, participatory democracy, and accountability. His leadership at HallowMace Foundation Africa, a key platform for legislative and development advocacy, has equipped him with what many consider an insider’s understanding of Nigeria’s legislative processes.
Speaking on his agenda, Osiebe listed five core pillars his campaign will focus on:
