NIS receives N500m Security Sector Support Grant from ASR Africa

The Nigeria Immigration Service has been awarded a N500,000,000 (Five Hundred Million Naira), from Abdul Samad Rabiu Initiative for Africa (ASR Africa) Security Sector Support Grant, in recognition of the many successes recorded by the Service both nationally and internationally. Sequel to current spread of COVID-19 (Corona Virus) and measures adopted by Government to restrict movement which is still enforce in view of the Federal Government further extension in order to give the situation the deserved attention and approach, considering the successes achieved and the need to drastically reduce the spread.
