Anal sex has become a lucrative practice in some northern states. This practice is widespread and has become normalized. Others request others to join on a daily basis. They even have groups they belong to, where they make recommendations to men interested in having sex with a female through the anus for financial gain.
Some men accustomed to anal sex, including those who practice homosexuality, find it easy to engage in anal sex with women for money. Such men sponsor the female’s lifestyle, spoil them with money, take them on holidays to countries of their choice, and provide them with luxury.
Having sex through the vagina may soon become old-fashioned in the north, as most women now prefer anal sex. A girl can now marry a man she’s fully aware is gay because the anus is involved, and they know each other’s secrets.
About five married couples shared with me that their husbands love anal sex more than anything. I thought Islam prohibited this, so why is it becoming so common?
The rate of homosexuality and lesbianism in the north is alarming, especially homosexuality. Many men and women’s anuses are punctured due to this practice.
Some ladies, due to preserving their virginity, choose anal sex to keep their virginity for their husbands but allow their boyfriends to engage in anal sex with them or use their anus for prostitution.
The almajiri system, where innocent children are allowed to roam the streets, has contributed to the problem, with some children being forced into anal sex for money.
My personal experience with the prison was eye-opening. Many people we treated for hemorrhoids were involved in anal sex. The experience was shocking, with men selling their anuses to fellow men inside the prison.
The rate of pornography groups created on WhatsApp and social media in the north is high. No tribe in Nigeria has shared more pornography links than the Arewa people.

Today in the north, we have more individuals engaging in unconventional behaviors. Children and young people see these individuals as role models, and it’s becoming normalized. Many are being discovered daily. As a medical doctor, I’m aware of intersex conditions, where children are born with ambiguous genitalia. I’m also aware of bisexuality and identity crises stemming from psychological issues. However, in some parts of the north, young people are adopting certain identities, using anal sex as a means to achieve financial gain or status.
Because in the north they patronize them for such , its a well known thing !
For some men in the north, being with a woman who engages in anal sex makes her more attractive most especially those married to gays .
But i can attributes , this act is common with those who are into Drugs and substances abuse .

One of my relationships ended because my partner wanted anal sex. I’ve shared this experience with a few people on this platform. The relationship was with someone I deeply loved, and it ended just days before our wedding. He revealed he was gay.
I returned to Nigeria in 2019 and settled in Abuja. The number of men and women involved in the anal sex industry is staggering. I’ve met girls from the north who travel to other states for this purpose.
What can you expect when people prioritize material wealth over morals and values? When spirituality is compromised, and people lead double lives? It’s no surprise I see many individuals involved in this lifestyle .
If not for religious reasons, many would be surprised to know how prevalent homosexuality and lesbianism are. Many men and women engage in these practices.
The fear is that in the next ten years, our marriages will become institutions of bisexuality. Both men and women are practicing anal sex, some as a source of income and others for fun.
As a parent, it’s essential to inspect your child’s anus for signs of anal sex abuse such as pain, bleeding, itching, or swelling around the anus .
Some Hemorrhoids in the north can be attributed to anal sex. Doctors should research this further, as it’s also a leading cause of fecal incontinence due to a loose anal sphincter.

My personal experience with a few patients gave me the answers I needed. Some patients eventually opened up about how their hemorrhoids started, which confirmed my suspicions. I was with a colleague who had to tell a patient to stop doing something that was causing the issue, and it would resolve.

If you practice Islam, educate your girl child that anal sex is not normal and is prohibited in the religion.

Understand the risks of colon cancer and other sexually transmitted diseases associated with anal sex.
What will happen to the future of marriage institutions in the north in 10 to 20 years, considering the increasing numbers of homosexuality, lesbianism, and anal sex as a money-making industry .
The prevalence of anal sex and related issues in some parts of northern Nigeria is a complex and concerning phenomenon. As a society, we need to address the underlying factors driving this trend, including poverty, lack of education, and social norms. Healthcare professionals, policymakers, and community leaders must work together to provide support, education, and resources to mitigate the physical and psychological harm associated with these practices. By doing so, we can promote healthier attitudes and behaviors, ultimately protecting the well-being of individuals and communities.
This issue isn’t limited to the north; it’s a global social concern. However, my focus is on the northern region. Unfortunately, many Nigerians, not just those from the north, are engaging in anal sex as a means of financial gain, effectively commodifying their ANUS!.
