Veteran Nollywood actor ,Fadeyi Oloro dies at 65

Veteran Nollywood actor and filmmaker Ojo Arowosafe better known as Fadeyi Oloro is dead.
Fadeyi Oloro, a legendary Yoruba actor who hails from Igbara Odo, Ekiti State, Nigeria, died at the age of 65.
The news of his death was made known to all and sundry today, March 7th, 2023 by a popular Facebook user identified as Otunba Adekunle Abolade Dodoede.
Recall in December 2021, Fadeyi Oloro cried out to Nigerians, seeking financial assistance amidst health challenges.

Fadeyi Oloro in an interview with Premium Times said he has conducted a series of tests to ascertain the nature of his ailment to no avail.
Also few weeks ago, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega of SPAC Nation Church promises to give him the sum of N3M after the actor pleaded for financial aid during an Instagram live with Daddy Freeze.

Reacting to his death, comedian Woli Arole wrote, “So happy I reached out to you sir, so happy we played our part, so happy we laughed together, so happy we were able to show our support. Rest in Peace the Legend “Fadeyi Oloro”. Let’s check up on people when dey are alive, Let’s show love when people can feel, Let’s help when it can be seen.”
Fadeyi Oloro attended St Paul Catholic School, Ekiti State, for his elementary education before proceeding to Timi Agbale Grammar School,Ede for his secondary education. He was born on the 15th of September, 1957.
The renowned movie antagonist started his career in Nollywood in 1985. He rose to prominence with his role in “Arelu,” a Popular Nigerian Television Series. Arelu gained enormous reception from Yoruba movie lovers, and Fadeyi’s role was vital. His role in this series shot him into the limelight, and he became highly rated for his acting talent.
Later, Fadeyi features in “Yanponyanrin,” another blockbuster project with massive reception from Yoruba film lovers.
His role in a movie is so unique that his stage name, “fadeyi Oloro”, is used to refer to a wicked person in real life.
The veteran actor has been featured in more than 100 movies.
