We’ll Complete All Ongoing Projects Before Initiating New Ones, Says Gov Sani-Bello

The Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani-Bello has reassured that all ongoing projects started by his administration in the state would be completed before new ones are initiated.

The Governor, who gave the assurance while on an inspection of ongoing projects at the State House of Assembly complex, expressed satisfaction with the progress of work which was at 90 per cent completion.

“We have decided to slow down our new projects to concentrate on the already existing ones. Our main priority now is to complete what we have started”

He explained that the project, when completed, would create a more conducive working environment for the legislators and facilitate the efficient discharge or execution of legislative duties.

Governor Sani Bello who tasked the legislature on maintenance culture, expressed the hope that the project would serve the purpose it was meant.

The project consists of the renovation and construction of the House of Assembly Complex extension, House of Assembly Service Commission complex as well as a Clinic at the Three Arms Zone.

The House of Assembly complex extension consists of 30 offices, a 300 capacity public hearing auditorium and eight committee offices.

The Governor was accompanied by the Speaker of the State Assembly, Barrister Abdullahi Bawa Wuse and some members of the State House Assembly.
