2025: DG NOA urges Nigerians to Strengthen Faith in Nation’s Progress

As Nigerians prepare to usher in the New Year, the Director-General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, has called on citizens to maintain their belief in the country’s potential for growth and transformation.

In his New Year message, Issa-Onilu acknowledged the significant strides made in 2024 under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. He credited Nigerians for their resilience and collective support for critical economic reforms and the ongoing fight against insecurity, which he described as pivotal to national development.

The NOA DG noted that the challenges of the past year were mitigated by the unity of purpose displayed by Nigerians. He urged citizens to sustain this momentum of resilience and support, assuring that the nation’s unity and stability remain paramount.

“I felicitate with Nigerians at home and abroad. The year 2025 promises growth and development for our dear nation. We should not be distracted by the antics of our enemies. A united Nigeria will be greater and prosperous,” Onilu stated.

He further reassured Nigerians of adequate security arrangements for a peaceful New Year celebration and encouraged citizens to remain law-abiding and vigilant.
