2027: Oyo APC Guber Aspirant Ololade Bakare Submits Nomination Form, Unveils Development Agenda

An aspirant for the 2027 governorship election in Oyo State under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Ololade Usman Bakare, has officially submitted his nomination form at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.

Bakare, a cybersecurity expert, arrived at the APC national headquarters alongside some of his supporters and political associates to complete the submission process ahead of the party’s screening exercise.

Speaking with journalists shortly after the submission, Bakare reaffirmed his commitment to providing purposeful leadership and progressive governance for the people of Oyo State if elected governor in 2027.

He described the submission of his nomination form as a major step towards what he called a greater and more prosperous future for the state.

According to him, his ambition is driven by a genuine desire to reposition Oyo State through sustainable development, economic growth, quality education, improved healthcare delivery and enhanced infrastructure.

Bakare also appreciated the leadership of the APC at both the national and state levels for ensuring what he described as a transparent and democratic process for all aspirants contesting under the party.

He further commended party members and supporters across Oyo State for their encouragement, loyalty and support since declaring his governorship ambition.

The governorship hopeful assured party delegates and residents of the state that his administration, if elected, would prioritise inclusive governance, youth empowerment, agricultural development, improved security and job creation.

Among those who accompanied him to the APC national secretariat in Abuja for the submission exercise were Engr. Sulaimon Adigun, Engr. Mahmud Abdullah, Alhaji Ishola Ramon and Barrister Amana Alkali.
