The Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen has congratulated the Emir of Jama’a, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr) Muhammadu Isa Muhammadu II OFR, CON, on his 25th coronation anniversary.
The Speaker recalled how Alhaji Muhammadu Isa Muhammadu II was installed as the 11th Emir of Jama’a on November 23, 1998 by the then military Governor of Kaduna State, Col. Umar Farouk Ahmed (rtd).
Since his ascension to the throne, Speaker Abbas noted, Emir Muhammadu has been providing good leadership and direction to his people, a statement by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Speaker, Musa Abdullahi Krishi, said.
Describing the revered traditional ruler as a symbol of unity and a concensus builder, the Speaker noted Emir Muhammadu Isa Muhammad’s contributions toward the peaceful coexistence among the different tribes, religions and cultures in Jama’a Emirate.
The Speaker said the good leadership style of the Emir of Jama’a is worthy of emulation, adding that the people of Jama’a Emirate and indeed Kaduna State are lucky to have him as one of their leaders.
While praying Allah to grant the Emir of Jama’a more fruitful years on the throne, Speaker Abbas equally beseeched the Almighty to give the traditional ruler more wisdom and protection to continue with his exemplary leadership.
Speaker Abbas also called on the people of Jama’a to continue to support Emir Muhammadu Isa Muhammadu and give him the necessary cooperation to succeed.
