Abuja Muslim Forum visits NAHCON Chairman, seeks collaboration

The Executive Council of the Abuja Muslim Forum AMF led by Amir Ustadh Lukman Ahmad Jamiu paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman/CEO of National Hajj Commission NAHCON, Barr. Zikrullahi Kunle Hassan on Tuesday 22nd November 2022 at HAJJ House, Abuja.

The visit, according to AMF Amir is aimed at exploring opportunities to bring the network of human resources within organizations that comprised the AMF to the service of the NAHCON and the Ummah at large. He identified the availability of astute professionals and competent service delivery organizations within AMF that can handle training, logistics, and construction services for the Hajj Commission.

Additionally, he proposed the possibility of using the renew weekly Thursday Taalims of the AMF to sensitize the Muslim community on the Hajj Saving Scheme of the Commission.

 

Barr. Hassan on his part expressed his appreciation for the visit, though he wished the visit had happened even sooner. He committed to partnering with AMF and all Muslim organizations across the country to deliver the mandates of the commission. He emphasised the fact that the Hajj House is the House of every Muslim in Nigeria, hence the need for widening the reach and impact of the commission.

 

The AMF team included the Deputy Amir Engr. Umar Chekpa, Former Amir Alhaji Luqman Amao, the Asst. Secretary Ustadh Abduljaleel Badmus, the PRO Engr. Jibril Ibrahim and the Asst PRO Mal. Lukman Laleye Babalola and also the Administrative Secretary, Mal. Adejoh.
