As the All Progressives Congress primary elections draws closer, Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State has been screened and cleared for the Niger North Senatorial District, by the screening panel of the party.
The screening exercise was carried out at the Fraser Suites, Abuja.
Speaking in an interview shortly after the screening, Governor Sani Bello described the exercise as seamless.
While expressing delight over the smooth conduct of the exercise , Governor Sani Bello commended the screening panel for a job well done explaining that going through the procedure is an experience.
“It is well organized, you can see the environment and I am happy about it”, he said.
When asked on who will be his successor, the Governor said “there are over four million citizens in the state and I Iove them all”.
Governor Sani Bello was screened by the five man senate screening panel headed by Ambassador Usman Baraya
The panel is expected to screen 1200 aspirants for the House of Representatives and 395 for Senate.
