APM Elects Wards ,Local, States, National Officers at its Second National Convention

The Allied Peoples’ Movement APM has elected its national officers in the second national convention of the party in Abuja.

 

This coincided with the four years anniversary of the registeration of the party, APM as one of the 18 registered political parties in Nigeria.

 

The Chairman, National Convention Planning Committee and the party’s Chairman in Kano State, Alhaji Nuhu Idris said the exercise was carried inline with INEC guidelines and constitutional provisions, held in Abuja.

 

In his acceptance speech, the new National Chairman of the party , Alhaji Yusuf Mamman Dantele promised to take the party into winning more elective positions in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

 

He commended INEC for working inline with the amended new electoral act, geared towards transforming and sanitising electoral process in Nigeria.

 

He applauded the leaders of the party at all levels, for piloting the affairs during his first term, as well as re-election.

 

The new national chairman says the peaceful and rancour free transition and election was a pointer to the workability of the electorate act in the country.

 

He promised to use the APM administration in Nigeria to arrest the growing insecurity, bad economy and other crises bedevilling the country.

 

The new leadership appealed to Nigerians to shun the ruling and major opposition party’s in Nigeria, saying Nigerians has suffered from recircled politician’s, which had led to myriads of security problems ranging from banditry, kidnappings and terrorists attacks.

 

He promised to build a new nation, a new set of leaders, that can deliver genuine dividends of democracy to Nigerians.

 

‘With INEC BVAS , a new system of electoral system, no doubt APM will form government in most states and federal level.’

 

He then urged party leaders and members to go all out and canvass vigorously towards 2023 general election.

 

He congratulated the elected officials from the ward, state and federal levels, wishing them a good tenure.
