Hon. Stephen Maduwa CNA ,IPDM, FCNA, FCCSA (USA), Ubandoma Michika and OMEUDO Ndi Igbo of Adamawa state, is a Nigerian politician who has served Nigeria in several capacities, especially his indigenous state Adamawa. He is also the Chairman/CEO of Maduwa Care foundation. From being a civil servant, he joined the political landscape. Also, he is currently a professional farmer.
He emerged first place following his online nomination and voting by members of the general public as monitored and confirmed by the Nigeria Service Awards panel of jury, which commenced on the 14th September through to 15th November, 2023.
Consequently, this prestigious Award will be presented by the COA Media Group; organisers of the Nigeria Service Awards at a ceremony slated for 30th November, 2023, at the National Press Centre, Radio House, Abuja.
He started his career with the Adamawa State Health Services Management Board, Yola, where he served in various capacities and retired after 26years of service and joined active politics. His commendable profile in his service to humanity has earned him honours and recognition at different times and capacities, some of which include the conferment on him the Award of Educational Excellence, The Coalition of civil society organization of Nigeria and the Award of Honorary Doctorate of Leadership and Community Development by ESTAM university Cotonou, Benin Republic, to mention but a few. He is also a member of several professional associations, some of which are: Member, Association of National Accountant of Nigeria, Member Association of Chartered Certified System Accountants Global, Member Institute of Public Diplomacy and Management, and a Fellow, Association of National Accountants of Nigeria.
