CAC receives Award of Recognition for outstanding contributions towards CSO regulatory reforms

The Registrar-General/CEO of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Hussaini Ishaq Magaji was today presented with the Award of Recognition for outstanding contributions towards CSO regulatory reforms in Nigeria.

 

The CAC boss also received the Affirmation of Commitment Scroll from the Commission for the EU-ACT.

The presentation was made by the trio of senior CAC officials involved in the project supported by the EU-ACT, namely Tolulope Adeola Sonaike (Deputy Director Compliance), Terver Ayua-Jor (Assistant Director/SA to RG), and Salisu Abubakar (PM, Compliance) in his office.

 

Today’s presentation followed the ceremonial signing of the Affirmation of Commitment for CAC at the EU-ACT Sustainability Baton Exchange held in Abuja on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

 

Recalled that the Commission deployed additional modules on its portal, which include the eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) filing system for financial reports developed in collaboration with the Financial Reporting Council with support from the eu-act programme under the European Union and British Council.

 

The measure was aimed at improving the CSO regulatory environment in Nigeria.
