The Corporate Affairs Commission CAC is determined to reduce it’s service hours from 24hrs to 6hrs daily going forward across the country.
This was disclosed by the Registrar General, Corporate Affairs Commission CAC, Alhaji Garba Abubakar during the launch of it’s service charter held at the Reitz Continental Hotel , Abuja on Wednesday.
The CAC helmsman who promised to abide by the operation of the new service charter promised to do anything humanly possible to achieve the basic requirements.
He reassured Nigerians that the commission will continue to deploy more hands to achieve it’s digital operations in line with the best practices.
“We are all aware that CAC operates both on working days , weekends, day and night and holidays to achieve maximum attention to our teeming vendors.”
“We don’t differentiate between working days and holidays, particularly during Sallah, Easter and other holiday period, we are determined to improve more on the present success recorded.”
Garba said the quality service delivery of the commission was attested to by the government service assessment agency, SERVICOM , with the emergence of the agency as the best service provider of thr year 2023 after due assessment.
He promised to continue to reorient it’s workforce, vendors across the country with a view to sustaining the laudable achievements.
The National Coordinator/CEO of SERVICOM, Nnena Akajemeli, said the feat achieved during the year-end led to the presentation of the Servicom Compliance Evaluation (SCE) award to the CAC Headquarters, as the most effective and efficient agency in the country.
The representative of the World Bank said Nigeria cannot afford to lag behind in a global fora , hence the launch of the Beneficial Ownership Register BOR to ensure semaless participation and operation of the platform.
He urged stakeholders at the national level to support the laudable initiatives of the commission, stating that as the giant of Africa, it is expected of the country to set the pace, while pledging the support of the world Bank.
The launch witnessed the presentation of service charter to the audience by the commission supported by SERVICOM.
