The Committee of Chief Medical Directors of Federal Tertiary Hospitals CCMDFTH has commended the leadership of the Sustainable Development Goals SDGs under Princess Adejoke Orelope Adefulire on the intervention in primary, secondary and tertiary health services in Nigeria.
The commendation came on the heels of the inspection of one of the centre provided by the SDGs, during the last administration of President Muhammadu Buhari in Gwagwalada.
According to Professor Bissala Ekele during the meeting of the committee of CMDs in the university of Abuja on Friday, he highlighted the facilitation of Endocrine Centre provided by SDGs in resolving both general and medical problems across the North Central .
“We are using the fully equiped centre in the resolution of both medical and general outpatient in the hospital.”
“We are not unaware that such facilities was spread across hospitals in Nigeria by the SDGs under it’s leadership.”
“We were able to resolve critical post COVID-19 and other emergencies using the centre provided by the SDGs.”
“The Hospital was not expecting such laudable and developmental gesture, we just woke one day to see staffs and contractors of SDGs asking for were to construct a centre for the benefits of the citizenry”Prof Ekele said.
