The Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command, CP Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful and all residents of the FCT on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, urged them to uphold the values of peace, sacrifice, unity, and tolerance which the season represents.
According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer of the FCT Command, SP Josephine Adeh, the CP wished residents a peaceful, joyful, and memorable celebration while assuring them of adequate security measures across the territory before, during, and after the festivities.
SP Adeh noted that the Command has already implemented strategic security arrangements, including intensified patrols, proactive policing, and deployment of officers to critical areas to ensure the safety of lives and property throughout the festive period.
The Commissioner of Police further urged residents to remain vigilant, law-abiding, and to promptly report suspicious activities to the nearest police station, as the Command remains fully committed to maintaining peace and public safety across the territory.
