Dr. Ezinne Kalu, wife of Benjamin Kalu, has dismissed as false a viral social media post falsely attributed to her, in which she was alleged to have made damaging remarks about her husband.
The controversial post, shared via a Facebook account identified as “Team OUK,” purportedly quoted Dr. Kalu making a series of harsh allegations and personal attacks. However, she has firmly distanced herself from the publication, described it as fabricated and misleading.
Reacting to the development, Dr. Kalu stated: “The accusations in this message against me are completely false, baseless and unfounded, and I categorically deny them, as I have had no involvement in or made any such statements or allegations.”
She added: “I will not engage with this matter or give any further response to it, noting that any publication by anyone attributing such claims or any other false claims to me will be addressed appropriately.”
Her response underscored growing concerns over the spread of disinformation on social media and its potential to damage reputations and public trust.
