The NYSC Director General, Brigadier General Yushau Dogara Ahmed has urged Corps Members to be diligent at work and exercise patient in climbing the ladder of success.

The DG gave this advice in his address to the 2023 Batch ‘C’ Stream Two Corps Members when he visited the Nasarawa State Orientation Camp in Magaji Dan Yamusa, Keffi.

General Ahmed also urged the Corps Members to serve their fatherland as good ambassadors of their families, institutions and NYSC.

“Be of good character throughout your service year and if it becomes very necessary for you to travel, make sure you obtain permission from NYSC.

“Try to respect other people’s opinions and make good friends while in camp. Also respect the cultural beliefs of your host communities when you pass out from the camp”, the DG said.

The NYSC Nasarawa State Coordinator, Alhaji Abdullahi Jikamshi informed the Director General that a total of 375 Camp Officials comprising 197 for NYSC and 178 from other collaborating agencies are working in harmony to achieve the objectives of the Orientation Course.

He added that all the registered 2,139 Corps Members have adjusted and are actively participating in all the camp activities.
