Ekiti Gov hails NYSC’s contributions to development

The Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has poured encomiums on the NYSC Scheme for its contributions through Corps Members’ involvement in the socio-economic development of the State.

 

He said the tremendous impact of Corps Members in rural development, education and health sectors of the State cannot be over emphasized.

 

The Governor stated this when the Director, Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development programme, Mr Omotade Benjamin paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Ado-Ekiti.

 

He promised his administration’s support for NYSC Ekiti State Secretariat.

 

Speaking earlier, Mr Omotade Ayodele, who was a childhood friend to Governor Oyebanji congratulated him on his election victory.

 

He promised the readiness of NYSC Ekiti State Secretariat towards supporting the administration of Governor Oyebanji in actualizing his vision for the State.

 

Mr Omotade, who was accompanied on the visit by the NYSC Ekiti State Coordinator, Mrs Chikezie Mary Nnena and some staff also discussed with the Governor, different areas of mutual benefits for the State and NYSC.
