The El-Birru Muslim Association of Nigeria (EMAN) has congratulated the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Usman Ahmed Ododo, on his successful completion of one year in office, commended his administration for its remarkable strides in governance and development across the state.
In a statement signed by the National Ameer, Arc. Abdulyekeen Mamman, and Secretary General, Ustaz Yunus Salahudeen Anda, EMAN offered prayers for the Governor’s continued success and paid glowing tribute to his leadership qualities.
The association prayed for Allah’s guidance and protection over Governor Ododo, wished him good health, strength, and the wisdom to overcome challenges in his leadership journey. They also prayed for blessings on his family, calling for harmony and peace in their lives.
“May Allah bless the people of Kogi State with the fruits of his administration and make the state a beacon of security, unity, and prosperity under his visionary leadership,” the statement read.
EMAN further lauded Governor Ododo’s commitment to the welfare of the people, particularly civil servants, described it as a leadership trait aligned with Islamic principles. The group likened his efforts to the exemplary leadership of Umar Ibn AbdulAziz, known for his comprehensive welfare initiatives.
Highlighting key accomplishments, the association noted improvements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic development under his administration. They commended the Governor’s commitment to strengthening security in the state, particularly the distribution of vehicles and modern gadgets to security agencies, which have enhanced safety and peace in Kogi State.
The association also praised the Governor’s focus on reconciliation and unity, described it as “second to none” and crucial for the progress of the state.
Reaffirming their support, EMAN expressed readiness to partner with Governor Ododo’s administration to promote peaceful coexistence and economic empowerment in Kogi State. They described the state as an economic hub of Nigeria with immense potential that can be harnessed for greater prosperity.
As Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo marks this significant milestone in his leadership, the association urged him to sustain the momentum and continue prioritizing the welfare of citizens, as exemplified by Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam).
