Former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has felicitated with River state Governor, Nzenwo Nyesom Wike on his conferement with honorary doctorate degree by Rivers State University, Porthacourt.
A statement issued by the former Kogi Governor on Monday in Abuja, said the honor was well deserved, considering the giant development of the state in the last seven years.
He described the honorary doctorate degree as timely and imminent, stating that charity begins at home’.
He then appealed to Governor Nyesom Wike not to compromise the development of the state, saying he is a role model to the present Nigeria, particularly at the sub national level.
He prayed for more recognition in his strides to bequeath the state selfless services and leadership.
