Former APC National Woman Leader, Hajia Salamatu Baiwa make Case for Kogi Women in Governance, Politics.

The Former All Progressives Congress APC National Woman Leader, Hajia Salamatu Baiwa Umar-Eluma has promised to provide a veritable model that will broaden women participation not only in politics , but governance at the states and federal level.
Hajia Salamatu Baiwa Umar-Eluma dropped this remarks in Abuja during the women stakeholders meeting from Kogi ahead of the November , 2023 governorship election and the participation of women both in the forthcoming elections and governance in the country.
She said the convening the of Kogi women stakeholders was very germane inview of the multiple aspirants yearning to lead Kogi state and their plans for development and women inclusion in the state as well as opportunities at the national level.
“We came to interact with the multiple aspirants whose intentions is to govern Kogi state and the need to access their development program, women inclusion in their programs.”
She stressed the need to provide what will be due for women after the emergence of one candidate that will eventually emerge as the APC governorship candidate and election in the state, along with the potentials at the federal level.
She commended women across the country, Kogi state for the massive supports that led to the victory of the APC Presidential Candidate and President- elect, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu in the last general elections in the country.
