Former DG NPC,Dr Kashim Akor bags National Honour

The immediate past Director General, National Productivity Centre NPC and Omachi Attah Igala, Dr (Chief) Kashim Akor has been confered with an award of National Productivity order of Merit NPOM.
Chief Akor made the list of 72 dignitaries recognised by the presidential award for 2021-2022 and 18 corporate individuals, bodies and Ministries, Departments and Agencies in the country.
The presidential award approved by Mr President, NPOM is an award of honour and dignity instituted by the FG to recognize, reward hardwork and excellence.
In a release conveying the approval by the Director General, National Productivity Centre NPC Dr Nasir Olaitan Raji-Mustapha stated that the dignitaries will be confered with certificates and medals on Monday , June 5th , 2023.
The Otunba Gbeluniyi of Ilaro, Yewa land was been honored by the President for his community services, empowerment, employment, provision of social services and charitable donations to various communities across the country.
Chief Akor who was honored with an acronym Kose leri ‘,’it has never happened’, due to his unequaled reforms, innovations and initiatives that had placed the National Productivity Centre NPC at the cynosure of public service in the last eight years. ‘
In his acceptance speech, the former Director General appreciated the President for rewarding hard work, diligence, perseverance and service to fatherland, promising to do more in his future endeavors.
