Gbajabiamiala’s appointment as CoS ‘ll guaranteed harmonious relationship between Legislature and Executive – Lawan

The President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, has congratulated the Speaker of House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, on his new appointment as the Chief of Staff to the President.

The Senate President also congratulated Senators Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia and George Akume on their appointments as Deputy Chief of Staff to the President and Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) respectively.

Lawan described the three appointments as “most appropriate” and “putting round pegs in round holes.”

“I particularly congratulate my brother and partner, the Speaker of House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, on his new appointment as the Chief of Staff to the President.

“This appointment is most appropriate. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has put a round peg in a round hole. I have no doubt that he has the competence and energy to deliver on this assignment.

“His vast experience in the Legislature will be an advantage to encourage harmonious relationship between the Legislature and the Executive,” Lawan said.

The Senate President wished all the new appointees success in their new assignments.
