GOV SANI-BELLO APPOINTS NEW KHADIS. … pledges adequate funding of Judiciary

Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani-Bello has assured the state judiciary of his resolve to ensure a viable and sustainable judicial system that would provide room for proper administration of justice.

He stated this shortly after swearing in two new Khadis in the state judicial service. They newly sworn in are Alhaji Ismail Musa and Alhaji Yahaya Imam Abdullahi.

Governor Sani Bello pledged to ensure proper funding of the arm of Government for efficient performance, stressed that judiciary remain the last hope that will sustain our democracy.

The governor commended the judicious utilization of funds allocated to the sector promised to ensure that continue adequate funding of the third arm of government for effective service delivery.

He decried the infrastructural decay in the sector, blaming it on long neglect by successive administrations in the state over the years.

The governor said the appointment of the new Kahdis was part of steps taken to address the manpower deficiency in the sector and urged the new juries to ensure fairness in discharging their duties.

He also congratulated the appointees, stressed that they came on board at the right time when their services are most required .
