Gov Sani Bello calls for continuous peace, unity …… as Jumma’at prayers commence in govt house

As jumma’at prayers commenced at the Niger State government house, the state Governor Abubakar Sani Bello has reiterated the need for continuous peace and unity towards the development and progress of the state.
Governor Sani Bello stated this shortly after observing the jumma’at prayers at the government house jumma’at mosque.
The governor noted that the commencement of the juma’at prayers at the government house became necessary to ease the hardship of staff going out to perform their prayers.
Speaking on his jumma’at message to Muslim ummah, the chief of staff to the governor, Ibrahim Balarabe stated that the present government will continue to preach peace at all times, noting that for security reasons, people will be adequately screened before gaining access to the government house for the jumma’at prayers.
Earlier, the chief imam of the mosque Sheikh Mohammed Sani Abubakar while delivering his sermon called on all Muslim ummah to make use of the month of Dhulhijja to pray for the continuous peace and progress of the state and country at large.
The government house jumma’at mosque was hitherto a normal mosque for prayers but has now been elevated to a jumma’at mosque to serve all Muslim ummah within and around the government house.
