Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello has congratulated all the Chairmanship and Councilorship flagbearers of the All Progressive Congress (APC) that emerged victorious at the party’s recent primaries held across the state.

The Governor in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mrs. Mary Noel Berje, charged the winners to see their success as acceptance and confidence repose in them by the people and the party.

He called on them to liaise with the party mercenary and various stakeholders to effectively work out ways and strategy that would ensure victory for the party and assert its dominance in the state.

Governor Sani Bello, who described the party primaries as relatively peaceful apart from the few incidents recorded, encouraged those that lost to take solace in the scriptural fact that power belongs to God and that He giveth power to whom He want.

He urged both the winners and losers to, in the spirit of understanding and sportsmanship, accept the outcome of the primaries, unite and support the party to success in the forthcoming local government elections.

He said “The party primaries are over, I am sure that those elected are not only credible but represent the wish of the people. Therefore, we must all join hands with them to promote our party ideals and ensure victory in the coming election”.

The Governor however appreciated the party executive for ensuring smooth conduct of the primaries and expressed optimism that the APC will emerge victorious during the LG polls.

Governor Sani Bello also extended gratitude to all the delegates that turned out en masse in their respective LGAs to vote during the party primaries and urged them not to relent until victory is attained.

“As delegates to the concluded primaries, you are also the ‘foot soldiers’ of the party at the local government level, I urge you all to support our great party and work towards its success”.Sani-Bello added.
