Gov Sani Bello reiterates support for Private Sector inclined to compliment Govt efforts

Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello has said that his administration will continue to support private sectors willing to compliment government efforts in capacity building.

 

The Governor stated this when the Promoter of New Gate University, Hassan Nuhu presented the provisional licence of the institution to him at the Government House, Minna.

Governor Sani Bello who noted that the university will no doubt fill the gaps and strengthen educational sector in the state, said that it will be of great benefit to youths in the state.

 

“I have no doubt in my mind that this effort will compliment whatever effort government is doing with regards to building capacity in different sectors and we will see to it that our young boys and girls benefit from this gesture”, he said.

 

He then appealed to the management of the institution to be considerate in the area of tuition fee particularly to indigenes so as to enable them benefit from the institution.

 

In his remarks, the Promoter of New Gate University, Hassan Nuhu said the institution was established to bring development to the state and to support the growth of youths across the country.

 

He also stated that the existence of the institution would avail youths who are having difficulties in gaining admission into tertiary institutions opportunity to secure admission and to create job opportunities as well.

 

Hassan Nuhu however assured that the University management will do its best to make the tuition fee affordable for all.

 

New Gate University was among the 12 Private Universities issued with licence to operate in Nigeria by the Federal Government.
