Gov Yahaya Bello becomes Honourary Fellow of NICA

Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Yahaya Bello has been conferred a Honourary Fellow (FICA) of the National Institute of Credit Administration, NICA.

 

NICA is a chartered prestigious body of eminent credit management elites, empowered by law to control, supervise and regulate credit management profession in Nigeria.

 

While accepting his Honourary Fellow of the prestigious credit management association in Lagos on Tuesday, Governor Bello who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Pharmacist Jamiu Abdulkareem Asuku stated that he was pleased to be conferred a Honourary Fellow (FICA) of the institute.

 

Governor Bello said since the establishment of the institute in 1992, its core mandate of fostering development of credit management in Nigeria and Africa while ensuring that standards are set based on best practices in professional and ethical conducts has been strengthened and improved tremendously.

 

Governor Yahaya Bello who is a Chattered Accountant commended the Institute of Credit Administration for its commitment to bringing changes to the face and habit of credit business at all levels in Nigeria and influence structures of risk measurement to protect the item on the balance sheet called accounts receivable.

 

The institute preserves and promotes and protects the integrity and interest of credit business across sector of the economy.
